For their class trip, members of 275 traveled to New York City on Friday, April 29th, after months of planning and preparation. After leaving Central at 8:00 A.M., the students arrived at Madame Tussaud’s, a wax museum exhibiting wax figures ranging from legendary sports players to classic Hollywood actors. The students then headed to the Top of the Rock (an observation platform on top of the Rockefeller Center), where they took group photos and enjoyed a 360° view of the massive city.

Afterwards, 275 students explored the city a bit near High Line Park and ate some lunch before boarding a party boat. Dinner for the night included pasta, chicken parmesan, and for those observing Passover, matzah and cream cheese. However, the main attraction of the night were DJ Dread’s popping tunes, the nighttime skyline, and promposals. Once the partying had ended, the class boarded the buses and had returned to Central at 12:00 A.M.

Despite the cold weather, typical New York City traffic, and long lines preceding every venue, the seniors had a blast on a trip that they will remember forever as graduation slowly approaches.
