On Friday, May 13th, Central students, educators, and alumni headed out to Citizens Bank Park for the thirteenth annual Central Night at the Phillies game. Michael Horwits (251), a social studies teacher at Central, sold out of his 560 tickets for the event.

Before the Philadelphia Phillies played against the Cincinnati Reds, Mr. Balbier, another Central social studies teacher, received the honor of throwing out the first pitch. Afterwards, the fightin’ Phils were able to come out on top in a 3-2 victory over the Reds, making Central Night at the Phillies yet again another success.
