Central High School celebrated its annual International Day on April 12, 2018. The school’s numerous cultural organizations spent countless hours in advance to rehearse performances and decorate the hallways with colorful expressions of their cultural pride. Hundreds of students brought dishes from their respective cultures to the International Day cafe, and many more dressed in clothing from their families’ countries. A beloved tradition of celebrating the Central community’s worldwide roots is alive and well at one of the nation’s most diverse schools.
