A Preview of the Musical

Central's annual musical, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels | PC: Owen Setiawan

This year, the Art Department has returned with another great musical, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Originally a movie, the Scoundrels hit the Broadway stage as a musical in 2005. This year’s cast consists of six lead characters played by nine Central High School students. The cast includes, Patrick Brinkley as Lawrence Jameson, Noe Bunster as Freddy Benson, Anja Castro-Diephouse as Christine Colgate, Maddie Church and Edwin Lapp as Andre Thibault, Rachel Macolino and Florencia Araya Gomez as Muriel, and Paige Cheatham and Julia Grugan as Jolene. Practicing four days a week, the stars of this musical are ready to present to the community of Central High School with yet another great musical. Containing lots of comedic moments, growing relationships, and outwitting con artists, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is the show to see. Debuting at Central High School, the musical will hit the stage on December 5th, 6th, and 7th.
